Africa's Journey to Bridge the Digital Divide - TransTeach

As a responsible corporate citizen, we try to give back to the community where we operate significant returns on their investment in us. We feel obliged to improve the environment in which we operate and we aspire to leave our foot print in the sands of time. Our current emphasis is on education in all its facts. Our global out-look gives us an edge in achieving these aims.

  • In the academic year 2008 / 2009 as part of our corporate/social responsibilities Transtech International Limited operated a scholarship fund in Sierra Leone, which catered for eighty (80) students in primary, secondary and tertiary institutions. Transtech International also facilitates post-graduate studies for Sierra Leonean students in participating universities in the United States of America viz: University of Toledo, Toledo Ohio, Howard University, Washington, D.C, University of New Mexico, Albuquerque NM. We are expanding this service to other countries where we have a presence. Also in 2009 we donated text books to the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM) of the University of Sierra Leone (USL.)
