Mr. Emmanuel Kanu is a Research Assistant at Transtech International Limited, a development economist with a strong bias for poverty alleviation.

Before coming to Transtech, Mr. Emmanuel Kanu was the Country Correspondent for a United Kingdom based International Humanitarian Organisation “War on Want”. During this period he acquired and showed a keen sense of understanding of the fundamental principles of the organization is war on want viz: Lifting people out of the quagmire of poverty to the pedestal of development and sufficiency. His role with the organization included providing first hand information on the socio-economic situation in Sierra Leone. He was a key member in the establishment of the Sierra Leone chapter of “War on Want”.
