Mr. Sandy Kamanda, a native born Sierra Leonean, is an Information, Communications and Technology Consultant at Transtech International Limited. He is currently working as Capacity Planning Engineering of SD Networking Services Group (NSG) of Jacksonville in Florida.
Earlier Mr. Sandy Kamanda worked as the Technical Analyst for Marriott International in Fredrick Maryland USA. During his tenure he superintended all the troubleshooting WAN and LAN problems for Marriott Hotels, affiliates and clients. He has configured Cisco routers, Paradyne Frame Savers, Switches and Hubs. Remotely managed the network equipment both national and International. This management included putting snifters on servers to sniff applications.
Mr. Sandy Kamana has a sound understanding of internet working Protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, TCP RIP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, IGRP, IPX) At Marriott International; Mr. Sandy Kamanda undertook and completed the study of on-line Element K TCP/IP, Introduction and Advanced, Part 1 and 2. Mr. Sandy Kamanda has a strong working knowledge in Cisco routers, HP switches and hubs.
From 2000 – 2001, Mr. Sandy Kamanda worked for Urban Family Institute, as Network Administrator in Washington, DC. His duties included configuration of and the management of the local Area Network.
Mr. Sandy Kamanda holds a B.B.A with Howard University: School of Business: Washington, DC, in Computer Based Information Systems. He also has an International Baccalaurate Diploma from SOS Hermann Gmeiner International College, at Tema in Ghana. Mr. Sandy Kamanda was honoured on the Deen’s list of Howard University. Mr. Sandy Kamanda maintains residences in the United States of America and Sierra Leone.
